How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'All I Want To Do' by Sugarland

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Sugarland tracks to try and understand what made Sugarland tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Sugarland's music. We then listened to the song 'All I Want To Do' bySugarland, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'All I Want To Do'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'All I Want To Do' by Sugarland. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'All I Want To Do' by Sugarland, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Sugarland track 'All I Want To Do'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Sugarland, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'All I Want To Do', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Sugarland song ' All I Want To Do'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
