How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'All Right Now' by Free

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Free tracks to try and understand what made Free tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Free's music. We then listened to the song 'All Right Now' byFree, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'All Right Now'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'All Right Now' by Free. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'All Right Now' by Free, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Free track 'All Right Now'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Free, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'All Right Now', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Free song ' All Right Now'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
