How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Angel Face' by The Glitter Band

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Glitter Band tracks to try and understand what made The Glitter Band tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Glitter Band's music. We then listened to the song 'Angel Face' byThe Glitter Band, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Angel Face'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Angel Face' by The Glitter Band. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Angel Face' by The Glitter Band, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Glitter Band track 'Angel Face'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Glitter Band, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Angel Face', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Glitter Band song ' Angel Face'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
