How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Angel Fingers' by Wizard

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Wizard tracks to try and understand what made Wizard tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Wizard's music. We then listened to the song 'Angel Fingers' byWizard, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Angel Fingers'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Angel Fingers' by Wizard. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Angel Fingers' by Wizard, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Wizard track 'Angel Fingers'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Wizard, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Angel Fingers', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Wizard song ' Angel Fingers'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
