How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Baby Baby' by Amy Grant

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Amy Grant tracks to try and understand what made Amy Grant tracks sound so good! We then listened to the song 'Baby Baby' byAmy Grant, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Baby Baby'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Baby Baby' by Amy Grant. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Baby Baby' by Amy Grant, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Amy Grant track 'Baby Baby'.

We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Amy Grant song ' Baby Baby'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG).
