How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Baby I Love You' by The Ramones

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Ramones tracks to try and understand what made The Ramones tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Ramones's music. We then listened to the song 'Baby I Love You' byThe Ramones, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Baby I Love You'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Baby I Love You' by The Ramones. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Baby I Love You' by The Ramones, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Ramones track 'Baby I Love You'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Ramones, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Baby I Love You', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Ramones song ' Baby I Love You'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
