How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Back In The UK' by Scooter

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Scooter tracks to try and understand what made Scooter tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Scooter's music. We then listened to the song 'Back In The UK' byScooter, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Back In The UK'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Back In The UK' by Scooter. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Back In The UK' by Scooter, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Scooter track 'Back In The UK'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Scooter, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Back In The UK', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Scooter song ' Back In The UK'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
