How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Bloody Well Right' by Supertramp

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Supertramp tracks to try and understand what made Supertramp tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Supertramp's music. We then listened to the song 'Bloody Well Right' bySupertramp, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Bloody Well Right'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Bloody Well Right' by Supertramp. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Bloody Well Right' by Supertramp, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Supertramp track 'Bloody Well Right'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Supertramp, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Bloody Well Right', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Supertramp song ' Bloody Well Right'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
