How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Brick By Brick' by Arctic Monkeys

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Arctic Monkeys tracks to try and understand what made Arctic Monkeys tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Arctic Monkeys's music. We then listened to the song 'Brick By Brick' byArctic Monkeys, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Brick By Brick'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Brick By Brick' by Arctic Monkeys. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Brick By Brick' by Arctic Monkeys, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Arctic Monkeys track 'Brick By Brick'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Arctic Monkeys, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Brick By Brick', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Arctic Monkeys song ' Brick By Brick'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
