How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Cheeka Bow Bow' by Vengaboys

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Vengaboys tracks to try and understand what made Vengaboys tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Vengaboys's music. We then listened to the song 'Cheeka Bow Bow' byVengaboys, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Cheeka Bow Bow'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Cheeka Bow Bow' by Vengaboys. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Cheeka Bow Bow' by Vengaboys, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Vengaboys track 'Cheeka Bow Bow'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Vengaboys, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Cheeka Bow Bow', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Vengaboys song ' Cheeka Bow Bow'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
