How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Cold Hard Bitch' by Jet

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Jet tracks to try and understand what made Jet tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Jet's music. We then listened to the song 'Cold Hard Bitch' byJet, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Cold Hard Bitch'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Cold Hard Bitch' by Jet. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Cold Hard Bitch' by Jet, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Jet track 'Cold Hard Bitch'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Jet, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Cold Hard Bitch', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Jet song ' Cold Hard Bitch'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
