How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Colour My World' by Chicago

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Colour My World' by Chicago. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Colour My World' by Chicago, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Chicago track 'Colour My World'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Chicago, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Colour My World', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Chicago song ' Colour My World'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
