How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Crush Crush Crush' by Paramore

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Paramore tracks to try and understand what made Paramore tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Paramore's music. We then listened to the song 'Crush Crush Crush' byParamore, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Crush Crush Crush'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Crush Crush Crush' by Paramore. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Crush Crush Crush' by Paramore, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Paramore track 'Crush Crush Crush'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Paramore, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Crush Crush Crush', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Paramore song ' Crush Crush Crush'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
