How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Da Doo Ron Ron' by The Crystals

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Da Doo Ron Ron' by The Crystals. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Da Doo Ron Ron' by The Crystals, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Crystals track 'Da Doo Ron Ron'.

We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Crystals song ' Da Doo Ron Ron'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
