How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Deeper Underground' by Jamiroquai

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Jamiroquai tracks to try and understand what made Jamiroquai tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Jamiroquai's music. We then listened to the song 'Deeper Underground' byJamiroquai, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Deeper Underground'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Deeper Underground' by Jamiroquai. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Deeper Underground' by Jamiroquai, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Jamiroquai track 'Deeper Underground'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Jamiroquai, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Deeper Underground', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Jamiroquai song ' Deeper Underground'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
