How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Don't Trust Me' by 3Oh!3

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many 3Oh!3 tracks to try and understand what made 3Oh!3 tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with 3Oh!3's music. We then listened to the song 'Don't Trust Me' by3Oh!3, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Don't Trust Me'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Don't Trust Me' by 3Oh!3. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Don't Trust Me' by 3Oh!3, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original 3Oh!3 track 'Don't Trust Me'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to 3Oh!3, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Don't Trust Me', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The 3Oh!3 song ' Don't Trust Me'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
