How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Driving In My Car' by Madness

We then listened to the song 'Driving In My Car' byMadness, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Driving In My Car'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Driving In My Car' by Madness. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Driving In My Car' by Madness, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Madness track 'Driving In My Car'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Madness, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Driving In My Car', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Madness song ' Driving In My Car'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
