In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Michael Jackson tracks to try and understand what made Michael Jackson tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Michael Jackson's music. We then listened to the song 'Earth Song' byMichael Jackson, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Earth Song'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Earth Song' by Michael Jackson. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Earth Song' by Michael Jackson, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Michael Jackson track 'Earth Song'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Michael Jackson, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Earth Song', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Michael Jackson song ' Earth Song'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
