How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Even Flow' by Pearl Jam

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Pearl Jam tracks to try and understand what made Pearl Jam tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Pearl Jam's music. We then listened to the song 'Even Flow' byPearl Jam, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Even Flow'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Even Flow' by Pearl Jam. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Even Flow' by Pearl Jam, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Pearl Jam track 'Even Flow'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Pearl Jam, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Even Flow', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Pearl Jam song ' Even Flow'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
