How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Everybody Hurts' by Helping Haiti

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Helping Haiti tracks to try and understand what made Helping Haiti tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Helping Haiti's music. We then listened to the song 'Everybody Hurts' byHelping Haiti, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Everybody Hurts'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Everybody Hurts' by Helping Haiti. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Everybody Hurts' by Helping Haiti, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Helping Haiti track 'Everybody Hurts'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Helping Haiti, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Everybody Hurts', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Helping Haiti song ' Everybody Hurts'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
