How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Eye Of The Tiger' by Survivor

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Survivor tracks to try and understand what made Survivor tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Survivor's music. We then listened to the song 'Eye Of The Tiger' bySurvivor, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Eye Of The Tiger'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Eye Of The Tiger' by Survivor. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Eye Of The Tiger' by Survivor, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Survivor track 'Eye Of The Tiger'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Survivor, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Eye Of The Tiger', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Survivor song ' Eye Of The Tiger'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
