How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Find Your Love' by Drake

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Drake tracks to try and understand what made Drake tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Drake's music. We then listened to the song 'Find Your Love' byDrake, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Find Your Love'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Find Your Love' by Drake. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Find Your Love' by Drake, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Drake track 'Find Your Love'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Drake, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Find Your Love', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Drake song ' Find Your Love'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
