In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Slik tracks to try and understand what made Slik tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Slik's music. We then listened to the song 'For Ever And Ever' bySlik, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'For Ever And Ever'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'For Ever And Ever' by Slik. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'For Ever And Ever' by Slik, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Slik track 'For Ever And Ever'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Slik, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'For Ever And Ever', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Slik song ' For Ever And Ever'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
