How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'From The Heart' by Another Level

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Another Level tracks to try and understand what made Another Level tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Another Level's music. We then listened to the song 'From The Heart' byAnother Level, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'From The Heart'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'From The Heart' by Another Level. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'From The Heart' by Another Level, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Another Level track 'From The Heart'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Another Level, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'From The Heart', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Another Level song ' From The Heart'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
