How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Get The Party Started' by Pink

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Pink tracks to try and understand what made Pink tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Pink's music. We then listened to the song 'Get The Party Started' byPink, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Get The Party Started'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Get The Party Started' by Pink. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Get The Party Started' by Pink, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Pink track 'Get The Party Started'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Pink, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Get The Party Started', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Pink song ' Get The Party Started'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
