How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Gimme More' by Britney Spears

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Britney Spears tracks to try and understand what made Britney Spears tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Britney Spears's music. We then listened to the song 'Gimme More' byBritney Spears, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Gimme More'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Gimme More' by Britney Spears. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Gimme More' by Britney Spears, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Britney Spears track 'Gimme More'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Britney Spears, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Gimme More', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Britney Spears song ' Gimme More'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
