How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Girls Night Out' by Alda

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Alda tracks to try and understand what made Alda tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Alda's music. We then listened to the song 'Girls Night Out' byAlda, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Girls Night Out'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Girls Night Out' by Alda. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Girls Night Out' by Alda, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Alda track 'Girls Night Out'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Alda, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Girls Night Out', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Alda song ' Girls Night Out'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
