How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Good Lovin'' by The Young Rascals

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Young Rascals tracks to try and understand what made The Young Rascals tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Young Rascals's music. We then listened to the song 'Good Lovin'' byThe Young Rascals, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Good Lovin''.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Good Lovin'' by The Young Rascals. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Good Lovin'' by The Young Rascals, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Young Rascals track 'Good Lovin''.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Young Rascals, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Good Lovin'', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Young Rascals song ' Good Lovin''. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
