In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Del Amitri tracks to try and understand what made Del Amitri tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Del Amitri's music. We then listened to the song 'Here And Now' byDel Amitri, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Here And Now'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Here And Now' by Del Amitri. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Here And Now' by Del Amitri, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Del Amitri track 'Here And Now'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Del Amitri, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Here And Now', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Del Amitri song ' Here And Now'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
