How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'House Of Fun' by Madness

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Madness tracks to try and understand what made Madness tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Madness's music. We then listened to the song 'House Of Fun' byMadness, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'House Of Fun'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'House Of Fun' by Madness. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'House Of Fun' by Madness, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Madness track 'House Of Fun'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Madness, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'House Of Fun', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Madness song ' House Of Fun'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
