How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Hush Hush' by The Pussycat Dolls

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Pussycat Dolls tracks to try and understand what made The Pussycat Dolls tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Pussycat Dolls's music. We then listened to the song 'Hush Hush' byThe Pussycat Dolls, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Hush Hush'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Hush Hush' by The Pussycat Dolls. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Hush Hush' by The Pussycat Dolls, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Pussycat Dolls track 'Hush Hush'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Pussycat Dolls, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Hush Hush', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Pussycat Dolls song ' Hush Hush'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
