How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'I've Got This Feeling' by The Mavericks

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Mavericks tracks to try and understand what made The Mavericks tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Mavericks's music. We then listened to the song 'I've Got This Feeling' byThe Mavericks, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'I've Got This Feeling'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'I've Got This Feeling' by The Mavericks. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'I've Got This Feeling' by The Mavericks, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Mavericks track 'I've Got This Feeling'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Mavericks, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'I've Got This Feeling', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Mavericks song ' I've Got This Feeling'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
