How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'I Can't Control Myself' by The Troggs

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Troggs tracks to try and understand what made The Troggs tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Troggs's music. We then listened to the song 'I Can't Control Myself' byThe Troggs, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'I Can't Control Myself'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'I Can't Control Myself' by The Troggs. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'I Can't Control Myself' by The Troggs, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Troggs track 'I Can't Control Myself'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Troggs, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'I Can't Control Myself', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Troggs song ' I Can't Control Myself'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
