How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'I Could Have Danced All Night' by My Fair Lady

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many My Fair Lady tracks to try and understand what made My Fair Lady tracks sound so good! SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'I Could Have Danced All Night' by My Fair Lady. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'I Could Have Danced All Night' by My Fair Lady, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original My Fair Lady track 'I Could Have Danced All Night'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to My Fair Lady, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'I Could Have Danced All Night', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The My Fair Lady song ' I Could Have Danced All Night'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
