Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'I Don't Like Mondays' by Boomtown Rats, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Boomtown Rats track 'I Don't Like Mondays'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Boomtown Rats, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'I Don't Like Mondays', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Boomtown Rats song ' I Don't Like Mondays'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
