How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'I Get Around' by The Beach Boys

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Beach Boys tracks to try and understand what made The Beach Boys tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Beach Boys's music. We then listened to the song 'I Get Around' byThe Beach Boys, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'I Get Around'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'I Get Around' by The Beach Boys. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'I Get Around' by The Beach Boys, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Beach Boys track 'I Get Around'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Beach Boys, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'I Get Around', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Beach Boys song ' I Get Around'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
