In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Sarah McLachlan tracks to try and understand what made Sarah McLachlan tracks sound so good! We then listened to the song 'I Love you' bySarah McLachlan, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'I Love you'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'I Love you' by Sarah McLachlan. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'I Love you' by Sarah McLachlan, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Sarah McLachlan track 'I Love you'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Sarah McLachlan, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'I Love you', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Sarah McLachlan song ' I Love you'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
