How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'I Stole Your Heart' by Kiss

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Kiss tracks to try and understand what made Kiss tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Kiss's music. We then listened to the song 'I Stole Your Heart' byKiss, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'I Stole Your Heart'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'I Stole Your Heart' by Kiss. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'I Stole Your Heart' by Kiss, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Kiss track 'I Stole Your Heart'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Kiss, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'I Stole Your Heart', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Kiss song ' I Stole Your Heart'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
