How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'I Want Your Love' by Transvision Vamp

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Transvision Vamp tracks to try and understand what made Transvision Vamp tracks sound so good! SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'I Want Your Love' by Transvision Vamp. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'I Want Your Love' by Transvision Vamp, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Transvision Vamp track 'I Want Your Love'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Transvision Vamp, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'I Want Your Love', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Transvision Vamp song ' I Want Your Love'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
