How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'I Wasn't Built To Get Up' by The Supernaturals

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Supernaturals tracks to try and understand what made The Supernaturals tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Supernaturals's music. We then listened to the song 'I Wasn't Built To Get Up' byThe Supernaturals, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'I Wasn't Built To Get Up'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'I Wasn't Built To Get Up' by The Supernaturals. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'I Wasn't Built To Get Up' by The Supernaturals, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Supernaturals track 'I Wasn't Built To Get Up'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Supernaturals, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'I Wasn't Built To Get Up', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Supernaturals song ' I Wasn't Built To Get Up'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
