How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'I Will Survive' by Chantay Savage

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Chantay Savage tracks to try and understand what made Chantay Savage tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Chantay Savage's music. We then listened to the song 'I Will Survive' byChantay Savage, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'I Will Survive'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'I Will Survive' by Chantay Savage. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'I Will Survive' by Chantay Savage, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Chantay Savage track 'I Will Survive'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Chantay Savage, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'I Will Survive', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Chantay Savage song ' I Will Survive'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
