How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'I Wish I Could Fly' by Roxette

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Roxette tracks to try and understand what made Roxette tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Roxette's music. We then listened to the song 'I Wish I Could Fly' byRoxette, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'I Wish I Could Fly'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'I Wish I Could Fly' by Roxette. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'I Wish I Could Fly' by Roxette, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Roxette track 'I Wish I Could Fly'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Roxette, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'I Wish I Could Fly', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Roxette song ' I Wish I Could Fly'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
