How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'It's My Life Confessions Part 2' by Glee Cast

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Glee Cast tracks to try and understand what made Glee Cast tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Glee Cast's music. We then listened to the song 'It's My Life Confessions Part 2' byGlee Cast, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'It's My Life Confessions Part 2'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'It's My Life Confessions Part 2' by Glee Cast. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'It's My Life Confessions Part 2' by Glee Cast, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Glee Cast track 'It's My Life Confessions Part 2'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Glee Cast, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'It's My Life Confessions Part 2', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Glee Cast song ' It's My Life Confessions Part 2'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
