How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'It's Raining Men' by The Weather Girls

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Weather Girls tracks to try and understand what made The Weather Girls tracks sound so good! We then listened to the song 'It's Raining Men' byThe Weather Girls, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'It's Raining Men'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'It's Raining Men' by The Weather Girls. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'It's Raining Men' by The Weather Girls, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Weather Girls track 'It's Raining Men'.

We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Weather Girls song ' It's Raining Men'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG).
