How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Jungle Love' by The Time

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Time tracks to try and understand what made The Time tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Time's music. We then listened to the song 'Jungle Love' byThe Time, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Jungle Love'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Jungle Love' by The Time. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Jungle Love' by The Time, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Time track 'Jungle Love'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Time, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Jungle Love', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Time song ' Jungle Love'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
