Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Alistair Griffin tracks to try and understand what made Alistair Griffin tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Alistair Griffin's music. We then listened to the song 'Just Drive' byAlistair Griffin, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Just Drive'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Just Drive' by Alistair Griffin. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Just Drive' by Alistair Griffin, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Alistair Griffin track 'Just Drive'.

We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Alistair Griffin song ' Just Drive'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
