How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Let's Hang On' by The Four Seasons

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Four Seasons tracks to try and understand what made The Four Seasons tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Four Seasons's music. We then listened to the song 'Let's Hang On' byThe Four Seasons, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Let's Hang On'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Let's Hang On' by The Four Seasons. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Let's Hang On' by The Four Seasons, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Four Seasons track 'Let's Hang On'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Four Seasons, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Let's Hang On', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Four Seasons song ' Let's Hang On'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
