How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Light Me Up' by The Pretty Reckless

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Pretty Reckless tracks to try and understand what made The Pretty Reckless tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Pretty Reckless's music. We then listened to the song 'Light Me Up' byThe Pretty Reckless, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Light Me Up'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Light Me Up' by The Pretty Reckless. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Light Me Up' by The Pretty Reckless, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Pretty Reckless track 'Light Me Up'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Pretty Reckless, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Light Me Up', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Pretty Reckless song ' Light Me Up'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
