How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'London Bridge' by Fergie

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Fergie tracks to try and understand what made Fergie tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Fergie's music. We then listened to the song 'London Bridge' byFergie, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'London Bridge'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'London Bridge' by Fergie. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'London Bridge' by Fergie, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Fergie track 'London Bridge'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Fergie, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'London Bridge', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Fergie song ' London Bridge'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
