How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Loose My Mind' by The Wanted

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Wanted tracks to try and understand what made The Wanted tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Wanted's music. We then listened to the song 'Loose My Mind' byThe Wanted, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Loose My Mind'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Loose My Mind' by The Wanted. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Loose My Mind' by The Wanted, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Wanted track 'Loose My Mind'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Wanted, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Loose My Mind', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Wanted song ' Loose My Mind'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
